TAKE YOUR HEALTH SERIOUS?

Look around people are literally leaving this world from all sorts of health conditions. Let's talk about a few recommendations that could really help improve a healthy lifestyle.

Regardless of your age, you should always take care of your mental and physical health.

1. MOVE YOUR BODY IN SOME WAY EVERY SINGLE DAY.

You don’t have to go out and join a gym that shoves protein powder and bulging muscles and uncomfortably tight spandex in your face all the time. Taking a walk around your neighborhood every morning before work or at night after dinner can do wonders. There are many ways you can get up and move, and many of them are free. Move in some way every single day — and not just from the couch to the fridge and back (unfortunately, that doesn’t count).

2. STOP STARING AT YOUR PHONE AT NIGHT AND GET SOME SLEEP.

Seriously.... Status updates will never be more important than being well-rested. Getting the right amount of sleep can improve your mood, keep your weight in check, and lower stress. It can also improve your memory and attention span, both of which will make you an efficient employee, spouse, friend etc.

3. Eat your meals – breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner—to keep metabolism going. When your body is deprived of food for many hours between meals, it starts conserving fuel and burning fewer calories to protect itself from starving. Your metabolism slows down, therefore inhibiting weight-loss despite reduced caloric intake. Also, blood sugar levels begin to drop within two hours of eating, which can trigger bingeing and food cravings.

4. Journal. Recording what you eat and/or your activity in a journal is one of the best ways to hold yourself accountable. Journaling can help you evaluate the nutritional composition of your eating habits.

5. Drink water. You can save money and improve your health by drinking water throughout the day. The natural liquid offers the benefits of hydration, nourishment, and improved well-being. Water can cleanse toxins from the body, improve brain function, energize muscles, control weight gain, and balance body temperature and fluids. It’s recommended to drink about 8 glasses, or 64 ounces, of water per day.
